Ingredients

Kugel

  • 1.5 bags wide flat noodles , about 7 1/2 pounds
  • 2 #10 cans sliced apples
  • 2 packages dried raisins , 15 oz packages
  • 3 quarts liquid whole eggs
  • 0.25 cup cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 pound margarine

Topping

  • 0.25 cup cinnamon
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 box cornflake crumbs , 16 oz

Instructions

Preparation

  1. Boil noodles and drain. It's always better to first boil the water, remove from the heat, add the noodles, stir and cover. This will prevent scorched noodles.

  2. Melt margarine in sauce pan.

  3. Mix all ingredients together in large container.

  4. Distribute evenly in 7 to 10 greased pans.

  5. Mix topping ingredients together and spread evenly over noodles.

  6. Spray surface with cooking spray and cover with aluminum foil.

Cooking Instructions

  1. Place in oven and bake at 350 to 375 degrees F for about 1 hour.

    ⏱ 1h 🌡 350°F
  2. Remove aluminum foil and continue baking until firm to the touch and golden brown. This will only take 5 to 10 minutes at most. Be careful not to burn.
